About the title...

I had been playing around with the thought of starting a blog for several months and had been lurking around the internet / life / tree based reading materials looking for inspiration to get me started on this new project.  As I was reading my daily dose of LifeHacker I saw that they featured a gentleman named NPR’s Morning Edition (my favorite news program!!!) said, "Instead of starting with a blank page, poet Austin Kleon grabs a newspaper and a permanent marker and eliminates the words he doesn’t need."

Cool concept, right?
I liked them all, but I totally fell for this one:
Reading it made me sit up a little straighter and think "Oh that's what all that noise is about..."
Maybe I'm lazy, but the thought that joy was approaching me (and I, in turn, did not have to go run and chase after it) seemed like the most positive / uplifting view I'd heard in long time.  When all that was added to the fact that it came from such a creative, fun, resourceful artist I thought that sharing the thought via blog title would be an appropriate start to my blog.
